Access to Pontoon Moorings

In line with the latest government guidance regarding the easing of lockdown we are pleased to let you know that we will be reopening access to boatowners on the pontoon moorings from Sat 16th May.

Please make sure that you adhere to all current guidelines regarding social distancing whilst in the yard including staying at least 2mtrs (6’6”) away from all other customers.

You are welcome to come and go from your boat as you please, In-line with the current government guidance, no overnight stays will be permitted and you cannot invite friends or family outside of your household onto your boat.

We respectfully ask you to move freely through the yard from your vehicle to your boat and to be aware of the government’s rules about groups of people and being with people not in your household. Your travel to the boat is for exercise and sport it is not for hospitality and leisure.

Let’s hope the Coronavirus situation continues to improve and we can all enjoy some good boating.

Reopening of Hardstanding & Provisional Relaunch Date

In line with industry advice we are pleased to let you know that we will be reopening the hardstanding from 9am Fri 15th May.

You are welcome to come and go from your boat as you please, making sure that you adhere to all guidelines regarding social distancing.
We respectfully ask you to move freely through the yard from your vehicle to your boat and to be aware of the government’s rules about groups of people and being with people not in your household. Your travel to the boat is for exercise and sport it is not for hospitality and leisure.

With regard to Relaunch we have provisionally booked a crane for Friday 5th June. High water is 11.35am 4.7mtrs.

Unfortunately you will not have access to the yard while your boat is being launched. This is so we and the crane driver can operate freely around the boatyard while maintaining social distancing, Once relaunched you will be able to collect your boat, It is unlikely that our toilet facilities will be open at this time.

Should you need any help preparing your boat for re-launch we are working in the yard and happy to talk with you about any requirements.

Let’s hope we can get on the water on the 5th and enjoy some good boating.

James & David

Covid-19

In light of the rapidly developing situation, and new Government Legislation put in place on 24th March 2020 the yard is now closed to all visitors & leisure boat owners. This will remain in place for the next three weeks, or until we are told otherwise that it is safe to reopen.

This action is inline with other trade bodies across the marine leisure and holiday caravan industries. We will still be answering all calls and emails and will be on-site to take care of your boats during this time.

s the health and well being of our small team and all our customers is our main priority we believe this to be a vital measure to protect everyone’s safety. This is not only our business premises for which we have a duty of care, but also our home.

Thank you for your understanding and take care,

Launch date

Please note the launch date for boats is 16 April 2018.

We are also currently redecking the South pontoon with fibreglass grating. We are currently finding the anti-slip properties hugely improved over the wooden decking especially in freezing conditions.
